I had a good fortune of being trained at and later be a part of the world class tertiary care multidisciplinary Comprehensive Headache Center at one of the best hospitals in the country - Tampa General Hospital, Tampa FL. It was founded by my mentor and dear friend Maria-Carmen Wilson, MD. From experienced nurses to excellent doctors, psychologists, physical therapists and dedicated support staff - it was a true family, united in care for headache sufferers, which I always remember with fondness and gratitude.

During my work at Orlando VA Medical Center we created Headache Center, which later became National Headache Center of Excellence Consortium site. We spread knowledge and shared experience in evaluation and treatment of headache disorders, organized webcasts and educational events for patients and medical staff across the nation.
